Depreciation Cycle failure - asset class and Cost code not being compatible

I am trying to post depreciation however I have an issue with SAP transaction AFAB.

I have created an asset in SAP however there is a conflict with the asset class and the cost centre assigned to that asset.

An asset has been created on corporate cost centre but on production asset class which SAP will not allow me to post to. Corporate Assets cannot post depreciation to production depreciation GL's.

I do not have the authorisation or time to create a corporate cost centre that will allow me to post to production asset class depreciation.

Please can anyone advise.
