Strategic Enterprise Management vs Cascading Goals

Is it mandatory implement Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM) if I use Cascading Goals on the Appraisal Form in Performance Management?

HI Sivani,

actually cascading goals is a nice alternative to SEM, and helps avoids it's implementation. You just need SAP-HR component and EP4 installed to use the cascading goals functionality.
