BI 7.0 Analysis Authorization

Hi,

I have question on BI 7.0 Analysis authorization setting.

If I had marked Authorization relevant to characteristic A, B and C on RSD1 and Query designer never use Characteristic C.

1) Do I need to insert characteristic C to Authorization and give colon value (: ) if char. C never use in the InfoCube and Query Designer ?

2) If characteristic C use in the InfoProvider but not use in Query designer, Do i need to insert char. C and give value to ':' ? in order to allow user to see report result at aggregate level.

Hi,

1. You need not insert charatertistic C in Auth. Structure of RSECADMIN if char C is never used in either Infocube or Query.

2. If characteristic C is used in the InfoProvider but not used in Query designer then you need to insert char. C and give value to ':'
