Hello all.
I´d like to know if it would be possible to send other users links from a portal Knowledgemanagement (KM)?
Or if one could "href" from other sites into a portal KM?
Naturely, guest/anonymous login would have to be processed (guest user is configured in our portal).
Simply copying the link would produce something like http://www.infraserv.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/public documents/03 - services & produkte/0316 - onlineservices/ish-leistungskatalog_2003.pdf
This works fine if the user is already logged on, either as user or as guest. If the user tries the link in a fresh browser window he would then be prompted for user/password, which is inconvenient.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Stefan,
first, welcom at SDN.
From your other ost I learn that your question concerns EP5. So, some bad news for you, but also some good one, if you get the chance to switch to EP6:
- To avoid the logon, you have to handle anonymous access to the portal. With some tricks this should be possible with EP5, but a real concept for this only exists in EP6 (look here: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/documents/a1-8-4/ep 6.0 sp2 security guide.pdf).
- The major problem will be accessing KM by anonymous access. This is also a problem in EP6, but in the meantime, there exists a workaround (see SAP note 728126).
Hope it helps
Detlev
