Consolidated billing

Hi Folks,

We have a requirement where a customer has three premises and we would like to have one bill for the customer for all the three premises by billing this way customer will qualify for lower rate on his consumption , we have a tier pricing based on the consumptions, if the consumption is high the price will be low, we have gone through the cookbooks on serial switching and installation groups but looks like none fit our requirement, is there anyways to resolve this ? your help is greatly appreciated.

Installation group functionality is designed for the requirement as you describe. If there are issues, then you might need to address them on a project basis. Installation groups enable you to link master data for billing purposes and then to use the combined billing information to determine the appropriate results. There is also outline contract functionality - but that is significantly more work.

Hi,

if your consumption comparison for appropriate discounted pricing is total of all the premises or preminse independent if premise independent you can use Joint invoicing functionality of you are comparing the total consumption (of the premises) to decide a final price, go with installation grouping.

Thanks

Yash.
