Asset depreciation area in foreign currency

Hi,

The client has a foreign company with local currency MZM. In this way the real depreciation area 01 has the MZM currency that posts to GL accounts.

We want to create a new depreciation area with the following specifications:

- group currency EUR

- post to IFRS accounts periodically (tcode ASKB)

We have already created this new area with these specifications, however when we try to post the asset depreciations (tcode AFAB) the system shows the following error message:

"You cannot make multiple postings to area 40. - Message no. AA756".

Is it necessary to make another customizing?

Dear,

The area seems to be posting itself as a parallel area, and is contained in another depreciation area through another connection. That is not allowed. Check your depreciation area setup and change it accordingly.
