AS JAVA system parameters

Hi,

Installed a fresh AS Java system and would like to know the parameters to be changed/tuned from default value like RZ10 in ABAP system.

Being aware of JVM paremeters to be changed . Can anybody tell about others parameters likewise.

Hi,

In case of As Java system, there are not much parameter that you need to maintain in instance profiles. Most of the parameter that you need to maintain are in visual admin or config tool. As for Java system fine tuning needs to be done for JVM parameters. For JVM parameters, you can refer SAP note 723909.

Some of the parameters need to be fine tunned on database. If you are using oracle database then you can check SAP note 830576.

I was intended to mention about thread and some time out kind of parameters of AS Java..etc

What are all theose and suggesting customized value.

HI Daniel,

there are parameters for the same. However, if you could mention the scenario you are looking for, will be good to answer your questions.

And for general parameters, i agree with sunny and the mentioned notes by him.
