mix of strategy 11 and 70

hi all,

i want to use strategy 70 assembly planning but at the same time to use gross requirements planning which means that i want to plan on the assembly level and Dependant requirements consume PIR but without taking warehouse stocks into account

is it possible?

I have n't tried before this scenario,

please follow the step to achieve your requirement

In Sand Box

Create a requirement class as Y11 in OMPO

maintain consumption indicator as 1 & planning Ind as 2 Gross requirement planning and category as Planned Independent Requirement

Create a Requirement type Y11 and assign the requirement class Y11 in OMP1

and create a strategy Y11 in IMG>prdn>prdn planning>DM>pir-->planning strategy --> define planning strategy

and assign the reqmt type Y11

and assign the strategy in material master and check out result

If the result suits your business reqmt configure it in DEV system

Hi,

I tried your settings it generates Dep Req , but with no planned order, i set mixed MRP indicator to 2 it generates planned orders in gross planning but Interdependent Requirements are not consumed with Dep Req.

how i can make it consume these indpendant requirements?
