Portal runtime error.

An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.

Exception ID: 02:19_26/02/11_0006_39627050

Refer to the log file for details about this exception.

But it is working fine under Employee self service --> iviews -->travel and expenses --> create travel request.

Hi Mahee,

which ressources/services are used in the standard role of "Employee Self-Service" depend on what Business package has been deployed and in what way the respective ressources/services have been mapped.

I think there might be two highly probable sources for your error:

1. The Service is not activated. The Service for Travelrequest is FITE_REQUEST and lies in namespace sap>bc>webdynpro-->sap TA SICF (as consultor_ess_mss mentioned already).

2. The Web Dynpro in ERP 2005 EhP2 --> iviews -->travel and expenses --> create travel request is based on ABAP. Thus it uses the Ressource EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_REQUEST_SRV_12 in your homepage framework (in case you don't have it, copy it from client 000). The field "PCD path" in this ressource will most likely be empty but it needs the PCD-Path of the iView from the ERP 2005 EhP2 folder filled here (it will warn you the entry belongs to SAP, but I reccomend to ignore this warning).

Just a guess: The iView in Role Employee self service --> iviews -->travel and expenses --> create travel request most likely still uses the JAVA-based Service in Portal-WD-namespace tra~tre. That might be the case this one works fine.

Bottom line: Check whether the said Service is active and maintain the PCD path of Ressource EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_REQUEST_SRV_12 in your homepage framework.

Hope this helps,

best regards, Lukas
