where we find the field industrail sector field in sd module and if found then what is the use of that?

This Industry field is there in cudtomer master> general data>Control Data Tab..This field will be useful for customer clasification

Hi

An industry is a distinct group of companies with the same basic business activity. The industry key is used in selecting data for evaluations (for example, a vendor master data list). You can specify industries such as trade, banking, service, manufacturing, health care, public service, media and so on.

The industry field belongs to the general data area of customer and vendor master records.

You can find the Industry field in Customer master data.

The path is IMG>Sales & Distribution>Master Data>Business Partners>Customers>Marketing>Define Industry Sector For Customers
