Selection of Inspection Plan by Storage Location?

Is it possible to have the Inspection Plan (ie Master Inspection Characteristics) selection triggered by the storage location of a material?

Material A can be received into 2 different storage locations; Distribution Center A or Distribution Center B (an external distribution center). I want to have the Inspection lot triggered with different Master Inspection Characteristics based on the storage location into which the material is received.

Hello,

I donu2019t think you can have sorage location wise inspection plans. I would suggest 2 ways.

1. Customize different usage for task list, say ZB. Use user exit suggested by marwadi. Appy condition that if the storage location is B then assign inspection plan of usage ZB to inspection lot.

2. If the usage is same then, create 2 inspection plans. One for location A and another for location B. Lot will go to CRTD mode. While assigning task list to inspection lot through QA32, system will throw pop up. Select appropriate task list as per the case.

Your requirements are not possible in standard SAP.
