Upgrade problem

I cannot upgrade my databases from SAP B1 8.8 PL19 to SAP B1 8.81 .Would be great if somebody helps in this regards.

Hi Rozen,

During development of software for new release 8.81, they start at say some patch level of 8.8 - 8.8 patch 13. What happens is, while 8.81 is going full steam with new features, the customers who are on 8.8 patch 13 need to be supported. Therefore, 8.8 will go to various patch levels as currently it is in PL 19 (I think).

So the problem is, 8.81 guys who took base as 8.8 PL 13, are going full steam and they do not all incorporate what is between PL13 and PL 19. They may or may not, they may as part of 8.81 rather than as upgrade to PL of 8.8.

In anycase, for 8.81 to be upgradable for 8.8 db at or below PL 13.

If you are above 8.8 PL13, you are out of luck for upgrade.

Please see note 1525133. Higher versiosn of 8.8 will be synchronized in next patch.

Hi.....

Is your 8.81 Setup PL setup?

Because as per my Knowledge 8.8 PL setup is not yet released. So you can not upgrade any old DB in 8.81.....

But you can create new DB.........
