Solution Manager alerts

Hi All,

We are getting solution manager CCMS email alerts for the system which is up and running.We have verified system is up and running there is no issue with the system but question is why these email alerts are being triggred.This is an unknown problem please help with your valuable suggestions.

Hi Ravichander,

I believe the below alert not belongs to System up and down. I accept it's showing Availability work in the alert but id doesn't mean that it's pointing to System Down, generally Availability alerts will point to Message server but not to the clients and segements.

i mean if you go through your alert there you can see client and CSMREG(availablity monitoring user), it means system is up and runing but i am suspecting that the alert woul like to expalin about some Segments of DB. so may try to read alert once again. and check your defined classes for the alert configuration once again and define the proper alert strategy.

Hi Ravi,

Sometimes CCMS alert monitoring generate these false alerts either because of network latency, or network issue etc. If system is working fine then you can ignore these alerts.
