Sytem copy using Export of Oracle 10.2.0.2 in windows 2008

Hello,

I have taken ABAP stack Export using inst and my componect versions are ECC6.0 ABAP stack and Oracle 10.2.0.2 Windows 2003.

Now i want to import same in Target system but the OS is windows 2008 .As per the note number 1303262 we can not install 10.2.0.1 in windows 2008.Kindly sugget me the solution

can i install diretly 10.2.0.4 and start importing using inst?

You should not do an import onto a database with a different patch. You should restore your system and upgrade the DB to 10.2.0.4 then create a new export. After that you can safely use the 10.2.0.4 install in windows 2008
