Transporting ear files

Hi,

Using Netweaver Developments Studio 7.1 I created an adapter module and using the "Run As, Run on Server" I was able to deploy the adapter module directly to our Development PI 7.1.1 system and everything worked fine.

I have now sent a copy of the EAR file to our Basis team and asked them to transport it to Test but they are having problems saying they require a .sca or .sda file rather than the ear because of how Pi handles transports.

Is this correct or is the an easier way of transporting ear files?

Hi,

U have to convert that EAR file into SDA file and then deploy it on PI server.
