Update Quantative Data of MIC in Routing

Former Member

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for help.

I have Quantative Characteristics like Thicknes, Width, Length and so on. Their values varies from material to material. For Example

Material M1 : Thickness > 5, Widht > 3, Length > 10

Material M2 : Thickenss <5, Widht < 3, Length < 10

Material M3 : Thickness > 15, Width >24, Lenght < 10

and so on the values of MIC changes for each material.

I know I can assign MIC in Inspection Plan - QP01, but how to maintain quantative data of each MIC in plan so that multiple MIC's based on lenght can be avoided?

Best regards,

Ravi Davda

Create the MIC based on required specifications like

Target Upper Lower

Thickness5 5 6 4

Thickness10 10 11 9

Thickness15 15 16 14

Length100 100 102 98

Length150 150 155 145

Length200 200 205 195

Width2 2 2.2 1.98

Width5 5 5.2 4.8

and use the same MIC for different Qualityplan / Material combination.

u have to craete only 1 mic (for ex. l1 )from length and different mic for thickness and width

say for material 1 add l1 and relevent mics for thickness and width

then for material 2 add l1 and it's related thickness and width mic

Hi,

Dont go by only three mentioned here - there are more MIC... This is just example.

My question is that I want to set upper limit or lower limit for Quantative MIC in Inspection Plan and not in MIC.

How to achieve the same

then create incomplete module mic for length, select upper , lower and target limits in control indicator

as ur target limit is fix (i.e.10) add target value as 10 and save. as it is incomplete module u can enter upper and lower limit in inspection plan itself.

then use this mic in inspection plan and enter upper, lower limit as per material.

Hi,

I am again telling do not go by number of MIC or values, it can be any thing 3,5, 10, 100.....

Nothing is constant.
