Hi Ravi,

Could you please elaborate what you are trying to do or achive or prevent?

How is the duplicacy being created in GRPO? Are you starting from new blank GRPO and copying source document an existing PO or copying PO to GRPO and then manually trying to dupicate the row etc?

To me it seems like operational discipline that the enterprise should stipulate to prevent such occurings. An employee may make a mistake once or twice but then management will stipulate by circulating memorandum to be careful and operations will fall in place.

Nevertheless, please clarify the scenario a bit more.

Hi Mr. Syed,

Thanx for a prompt response.

Well the scenario is when a User Go thru copy GRPO to PO, he can duplicate a row in GRPO.

My point is i do not authorised users to make GRPO by excess qty. than a P.O, but user can duplicate same item row and make it possible to create an excess qty. GRPO.

Do i clear my question Sir?

if yes then i have to block that row duplicasy in GRPO.

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

You said - Well the scenario is when a User Go thru copy GRPO to PO, he can duplicate a row in GRPO.

From GRPO, you can only go to GoodsReturn or A/P Invoice. How can the user copy GRPO to PO twice?

Hi Syed,

There are two ways to make GRPO.

1. PO to copy GRPO.

2. GRPO copy from PO.

The scenario will be relate in both condition given above.

Hi Ravi, please read through this thread, there is a query that you can implement without SDK -

Hi Ravi........

Such functionality is not there in SAP standard.

If you want a particular user to be restricted form duplicating rows then you can achieve this Via SDK Development where you can disable this option when user right click on a row.......

Hi Ravi ,

The query is correct , it will work perfectly i have tried the same .

Just check one thing .

Is there any previous GRPO where row duplication exists.

If yes ! Then only this error is occurring .

You have to exclude that GRPO DocNum from SP_transaction Notification .

Just check this !

Hope this Helps !

Thanks

Hi Ashish,

As u said that there is some documents already had been add with duplicate rows that's why error comes.

But how to exlude previous GRPO, thete can be hundreds of entries.

Ok Ravi ,
