Hello,
Iam new to KM approval process. I am facing an issue with my scenario, Its as below,
I have a "document" Folder and whenever a file is uploaded into it by user A, i trigger a approval step. The notification is sent to the second user B. and then to User C and User D.
Basically the first user would upload the document and all other 3 users will approve in order (B-C-D). My scenario works fine till B. The user B approves the record. But from there Iam not sure where the document goes. If I login to user C i do not see any notification.
I have designed the approval with 3 steps starting from
Step 1 -User B
Step2 - User C
Step3 - User D
Please let me know what am i missing here.
Regards
Suresh
Hi Suresh
when the user A upload a document, need to send to approval. The User B receive the approval step?
It is possible to configure the folder to send the documents to approvel after the upload without any step from user A.

Hi, Suresh.
First of all, the uploaded document is not moving while approving process. There's only changing the doc's properties.
The second thing you should pay attention is permissions and service permissions for approval process.
The document can only be read by User C with write [permission|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/db/a4bf4db1d011d5993800508b6b8b11/content.htm] for it.
Also check [service permissions|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8b/764d3c006f8f0ce10000000a11405a/frameset.htm] Approver Administration for User C.
The better way is to set permissions and service permissions for the whole folder where approval process is enabled.
