Double-clicking messes up CR reports [CR2008 for Visual Studio 2008]

Hi,

I'm using Crystal Report 2008 for Visual Studio 2008. We run reports on a VB.net desktop application.

For some reports, double-clicking on a report messes it up. The logo image disappears, the layout changes, the current page jumps... etc.

Is there any way to avoid this?

Thanks!

Riya

Does CR2008SP3 also fix this problem? We might be upgrading to SP3 (12) for some other reasons.

Thanks,

I'm not aware of this being an actual problem fixed in SP 1. But going to the latest SP would be a requirement no matter what. E.g.; no way to report any issues to QA for a fix unless the issue is confirmed in the latest SP. As a side note. There are no plans to be doing another SP for the CR bundle, so going to CR2008 SP3 will be best.

Make sure you have SP 1 on your development computer:

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009351512008E/crbasic2008sp1.exe

amd SP1 for CR 10.5 runtime on the client computer:

CRRedist2008_ia64.msi

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006255262008E/CRRedist2008_ia64.zip

CRRedist2008_x64.msi

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006255272008E/CRRedist2008_x64.zip

CRRedist2008_x86.msi

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009351342008E/CRBasicVS2008_redist_x86.zip

Umm, a screen shot may be worth a 1000 words

Crystal Report 2008 for Visual Studio 2008 = CR 10.5 (Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008)?

Or, what version of CR assemblies are you referencing in your app?
