Refilling - Material - procurement

Dear Experts,

what is the best way to deal with refilling materials?

Gas refill/toner Refill u2013 Procure toners/exhausters @ a rate and store it in stock. Consume it to a cost center when required. After itu2019s consumed, it will be refilled @ lower cost and consume it again. This process repeats.

Price for new material is higher than the refill.

hi Govind,

I know about returnable packaging material to vendor. I don't think it works here.

Returnable packaging materials are non valuated material but refilling materials are valuated materials.

RP materials, you return to vendor and refilling material I dont return but I consume it.

I think of split valuation so I map new material as one val type and refilling as another valutation type. But still I am trying to find is there any other best way for this.
