Japanese language support package is required

Hi,

I have developed a adobe form in which Japanese standard text needs to be displayed. The development is finished and while executing the form, i am getting the below message.

'The Japanese Language support package is required to display this page properly. Under the current configuration, this resource is not available'.

Hence i forwarded this screen shot to the BASIS team and asked them to install Japanese font in the system. They replied that the same was already installed.

why i am getting this message?, though the font is installed. Please do let me know your inputs to overcome this issue.

Hi Kishor,

Follow the below steps to display Japanese text on adobe form.

1 . Install Japanese language pack on top of existing Adobe reader at the clients system.

2 . Place the Japanese text at required places on the adobe form.

3 . Deploy the application.

This will solve your purpose.

Have you tried changing the form locale to Japanese? Edit->Form Properties -> Defaults Locale...Then you can change it to the desired language.
