Our client is very close to nailing down their Job catalog design, which was a big step for them since they didn't really have a formal concept of it in their existing system.
However, as part of their scope they are intending to use the job pricing tool that provides job matching from external market surveys to internal salary ranges.
If we create 1 job called Travel Manager.
Travel Manager then has 3 different pay grades available.
GRD01
GRD02
GRD03
These are stored as 3 separate records in planned compensation (1005) of the job and they have their own salary ranges.
In the job matching - external job to internal job, the matching only happens at the job level? How is the external grades mapped to the internal grades of the respective job IDs so that the salary ranges can be properly compared?
