Customer field on contract

hi

experts i have added a custom field company code in the over view of contract by enhancing the web dynpro

we have added the field through SPRO->SRMSERVER->EXTENSION AND FIELD CONTROLLS->CONFIGURE CUSTOMER FIELDS->DEFINE CUSTOMER FIELDS ON header level---> adding fileds on contract header

do wee need to maintain any other settings if so please let me know

and another thing is that field is getting defaulted to 02 not getting from where this is being populated

please let me if any badi has to maintained for the same

Also please set the customer field in the following IMG:

SPRO -> SRMSERVER -> EXTENSION AND FIELD CONTROLLS -> CONFIGURE CUSTOMER FIELDS -> Define Customer Fields on Header Level -> Append for Customer Cross-Document Database Fields on Header

SPRO -> SRMSERVER -> EXTENSION AND FIELD CONTROLLS -> Configure Field Control -> Configure Control for Fields on Header Level -> Metadata for Fields on Document Headers

hi thanks for your reply

i have maintained the same setting spro do i need to implement any other badi

as the filed is visible in SRM portal , i dont now where to check that at data base level

and my field is filled with value 02 even though i have not maintained it any where

please let me know any solution for this

Hi,

You mean the field is visible or invisible? If it is visible, isn't that what you need?

As for the '02' value, can you check if the BAdi BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI for the contract object has been accidentally activated to fill the value?

now that the value issue is resolved

if i pass a value to my newly added filed from the portal, in which table it is going to store as in my case in debug mode the filed is blank so do wee need to handle this scenario or the system will handle it if so do wee need to maintain any spro settings or any badi is their please let me
