Customer field on contract



experts i have added a custom field company code in the over view of contract by enhancing the web dynpro

we have added the field through SPRO->SRMSERVER->EXTENSION AND FIELD CONTROLLS ->CONFIGURE CUSTOMER FIELDS ->DEFINE CUSTOMER FIELDS ON header level---> adding fileds on contract header

do wee need to maintain any other settings if so please let me know

and another thing is that field is getting defaulted to 02 not getting from where this is being populated

please let me if any badi has to maintained for the same

it will be great help looking forward to your replies
