Hi all,

could you advise me how to roll-over deposit in a case you are not intending to change nominal amount (capital structure) and just want to extend repayment date.

Hi,

Why not just change End term date of the deposit?

Hi,

changing end date of deposit might be a solution. however why then 'roll-over' icon exist? also in case of a roll-over you can both repay an interest flow or capitalize it. I assume both situations can be solved using manual interest period definition, so could require more effort and time from Users. So I want to check is there a functionality and how it works?

anyway, thanks for your time and effort.

Hi,

It is always good to do a roll over when there is a change in the structure of the transaction so that it is easy to track the whole process for the transaction.

In case if your capital structure does not change i.e. there is no new nominal amount being invested/borrowed, you need not enter any flow type/amount when you do the roll over action. You can just change the end date.

Hi Ravi,

this is exactly the way I'm trying to do, however if amount is zero, I get error message 'Specify the payment amount'.

Hi,

When you do roll over, Under the changes to capital structure area, do not specify any flow type/ amount. Both will not be a mandatory field. Just specify the roll over date and check the cash flow if it is ok.
