Location to place .JSP pages

Hi,

I have several .NET iViews in EP that i am migrating into EP6 SP2, I have recreated these .net iviews into JSP and I am going to upload them as URL iView, Does anybody know where should I place this .jsp file in the server in order to get it displayed in the Portal in EP 6?

Hope someone can help out.

Regards

JC

    Depends on how you are going to access the jsp.

    I put mine in <app>/dist/PORTAL-INF/pagelet then use setJspName() to reference from java class.

    To use them directly put into <app>/dist/PORATL-INF/jsp then use component properties in portalapp.xml to reference

    <component name="another">

    <component-config>

    <property name="ComponentType" value="jspnative"/>

    <!--- Note the JSP value is relative to <project>/dist/PORTAL-INF -->

    <property name="JSP" value="jsp/another.jsp"/>

    <property name="SecurityZone" value="com.sap.portal.pdk/low_safety"/>

    </component-config>

    <component-profile>

    <property name="tagLib" value="/SERVICE/htmlb/taglib/htmlb.tld"/>

    </component-profile>

    </component>

    reference is relative to <app>/dist/PORTAL-INF so you can put them someplace else if you want.
