Labell printer printing Issue

Hi ,

I am facing issue on the printing with labell printer. The Labell printer is configured as remote printer >When we give print in windows queue it print fine in Windows. And When we create print queue in HP Unix , the printer is not working (no print from the printer).Please suggest me what need to be done that labell printer can print in HP Unix in romote mode (remote printer).

The labell printer is ZEBRA printer.

Please help me out for resolving this issue ASAP .

Hi,

have you changed the access method in SPAD?Please check it once and let me know.

Hi

If you want to print from unix server using SAP, then the methods are

you need to maintain the system IP from where you are giving the print and the printer host name

for ex:-

10.12.90.0 <printername>

from spad check whether you have configure using os level.

Does the data light flash on the printer when you send the print job? If not, the print job is not getting to the printer. Are you using Smart Forms / SAPScript / IFbA / Or something else? What device type are you using to print?

Are you trying to print as a PDF or in native control characters?

sorry the solution provided me not work . Please let me know other solution.

When we give print in windows queue then labell printer work fine (ZEBRA PRINTER) and when we try to create print queu in HP UNIX the printer doesn't work.

if this is SAP printing issue, have you configured your output device to have access method for unix instead of windows?
