QM in Procurement-Defining Control Keys for Certificate Processing

Hi Gurus

I have a activated QM proc active in the material master QM view.

In customization of certificates type i have assigned certificate check required.

How to create a certificate record with the status "Certificate checked and stored"? and where to create these records or categories.

When you assign certificate type in QM view,System asks for "Certificate received or not " during MIGO.

Person doing GR has to say YES or NO.

When you say YES & save MIGO system creates a certificate in background & assign the status as ""Certificate checked and stored"

Alternatively you can go to QC51 & change the status of certificate against the Purchase order Number.

These statuses are SAP defaults and can not be created.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I followed the same thing.

System asked for "Certificate received or not " during MIGO.

I gave yes and went to QC51 created a certificate against the Purchase order Number and changed the certificate status to certificate received.

Even after creating certificate duirng MIGO following error is displayed.

"A category ZTMT inspected certificate is required"

ZTMT-is the certificate type

Any suggestions please

First thing if you are confirming during MIGO as "YES" then you need not to go to QC51 & change the status.

Observe one thing that when you say YES status in certificate automatically changes.

Now let us know the error Number !

just check following seetings in certificate type

indicator 'Certifiate check required' is set

what's the setting in

Control without certif

generally u will get this type of error when inspection lot is not created /material is posted to unrestricted.

change the control in 'Control without certif' to avoid this error , u can set it as warning.

Just one more clarification

1.Have you Entered the Quality info record--> inspection control -->as no inspection.

2.what are setting made in SPRO->QM->QM in Logistics->QM in Procurement->Certificate

Hi all,

In the Certificate Types i maintained control with certificate as "Warning" so now i am able to make MIGO

Earlier it was "With lot: Error message Without lot: Error message"

So the issue is closed

Hi,

At the time of GRN for purchase Order - system will ask you to confirm the receipt of Certificate .

Now based on your config .. You can confirm it later with transaction QC51.
