Hide PR price

Hi,

I have a requirement from user that they want to restrict the view of the price input in PR for several person. The logic behind this is so the purchaser should try to get independet estimate of the price to construct owner estimate rather than knowing directly what is the estimate given by the user.

I know that in PO we can have a parameter which can restrict the display of the price in PO (we can display the PO, but cannot see the price). Is there a parameter that can be used in PR?

Value in PR is not a final one and as you said in PO its possible and even in PR display even ypu can do this by authorisation and just discuss with Basis consultants.

Hi dear,

This is possible with settings in SPRO.

1) Find out what field selection key you have maintained for document type for which you want to impose condition.

SPROu2013>IMGu2013>MATERIALS MANAGEMENTu2013>PURCHASINGu2013>PURCAHSE REQUISITIONu2013>DEFINE DOCUMENT TYPE check out field selection key.

2) Now go to

SPROu2013>IMGu2013>MATERIALS MANAGEMENTu2013>PURCHASINGu2013>PURCAHSE REQUISITIONu2013>DEFINE SCREEN LAYOUT AT DOCUMENTAL LEVEL.

3) Double click on Field selection key now on newly opened screen double click on Price & Price Unit.

4) Now remove all the ticks infront of Price and Price unit (i.e. Required entry,Opt entry,Display boxes should be unchecked)

5) When you create PR after this you wont see the Price field in PR for that document type.
