Posting Change Notice did not trigger for 412 E movement

We are in SAP 4.7

End user performed MB1B transaction with 412 E Movement type and transferred the batch stock to a new material, new storage location and a sales order line item.

The IM-WM interface is setup for 412 E. For all the 412 E movements done by the user a systematic posting change is triggered and an auto TO is created and the corresponding stock movements are occurring with the current setup.

For only one material, when he performed MB1B - -412 E, Posting Change notice did not create. Stock moved to new material and new storage location and sales order line item in Inventory management (MMBE) but not in WM. Stock remained in WM for old material and old storage location.

Tried to replicate the issue in lower clients but, the interface triggers without No issue. So this is not reproducible.

can anyone provide me ideas to research this issue. Also need to know how to fix the stock discrepancy.

Thanks

Check in LB12 whether you have PCN unprocessed for the material document.

Hi,

What do you mean "MB1B - -412 E"?

Try to create the posting change manually - LU01 - to see if any errors occur. Then if this is created, try to create the TO for the posting change - LT05 - again to see if any errors occur.

The easy way to correct this is by LX23...but that must be the last option. Also note that LX23 takes WM stock and correct IM stock.

Do let us know what you got.
