ECC Replication via SLT for KNA1 - Customer table to S/4HANA

Dear Colleagues,

I am trying to set up SLT replication from my ECC 6.0 system to a vanilla S/4 HANA system for the customer master table KNA1. My concern is that customer maintenance via business partner is mandatory on S/4HANA, however we do not have this in our source ECC system. What would be the outcome if I tried to replicate the KNA1 table? would it have any impact on BP in the target system?

I would refer to this document starting on Page 17 for information regarding BP in S/4HANA. It is not a small task just to replicate data to S/4. Trial and error will be in play especially on the first try. Sorry I cannot give you a more detailed answer.
