How to create a complex crystal report

HI,

I have a requirement that I need to design a summary report, the main report default view contains the following:

1. Two table views(1&2) sit side by side horizontally below the report title represent particulars of company project's information like project number, start date, end date etc..

2. One large table view(3) contains details of project(s) of company based on year selection under those two table views.

3. One more large table view under table view(3) contains details of projects of company on monthly basis for selected year.

Can I use multiple sub reports for each table view in main report or need to use multiple cross-tab reports? If, let me know performance issues too?

Please let me know a recommended approach?
