Hi All

After doing enough search, I thought i will put it to you all.

We are in the process of looking various options of how we get data to print employee ID Card on the day he/she joins

Is there any SAP defined solution for printing plastic ID Card with the data in SAP HR master data

can anybody suggest how they are doing if they interfaced to third party system

Thanks

I've never heard of this in the SAP standard. You could probably achieve this with Adobe interactive forms or SAP Smartforms.

      HI

Could you please help me in understanding the landscape

After we design the ID card in smartforms / Adobe forms, can i arrange for a print from SAP to that particular printer (which prints on plastic cards)

      Regards

    Hi DA

Our company manufacturers ID Card software and we have done some customized solutions for what you are asking for.

What we did is we built a windows service that requests by means of SQL commands information from the SAP webserver and then we brought that into a database and then our software pulled the information from that database needed to create the ID Cards.

If you would like more info, you can contact me at 9252084716.

    Hope that helps!
