How to get input fields without functionality in SAP Interactive Forms

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I have the following requirement. I want to display an editable field in an Adobe form without using any interactive component. There should be no functionality behind it. The user should be able to write a text in the field with the intention to print the form later on. No data should be passed or retrieved from the backend.

Until now I only get the input fields to work when enabling the interactive functionality. But therefore - of course - the credential file for the interactive forms is needed, which I want to avoid.

Do you hava any idea how to create this input field?

Thank you in advance...

Thanks,

Henning

Hi sarbjeet,

thanks for you anwer.

From my understanding an input field itself doesn't represent an interactive component since no data are passed around.

I'd like to find a ABAP solution where I can add an an input field without having to pay for the credential file.

If it's not possible in any way, I will go for the outside solution you mentioned.

Best Regards,

Henning

But that is the key. Anything other than static forms requires the crediential file in order for Acrobat Reader to open up the functionality. This is very much a funcitonality of licensing.

Without making it interactive its not possible.

may be you can give the input field outside adobe form and then pick the data from there and

put it in abode form.

thanks
