Lock/Unlock the Reports during the Peak time

Dear All

We have lots of Z reports which has been developed our in house team, during the peak time we want to lock the list of reports after some time(off peak time) its has to unlock by using the we its has to unlock. Now we are using the SM01 manually locking method.

1. is this any program we can do the mass reports lock/unlock?

2. any other way we need to follow.

Hi,

1. i don't think standard program will do mass locking. we do it using SM01 > specify tcode name > lock/ unlock.

2. if you wish your Z tcode can be executed within specified time range only, this is possible. Ask your ABAP to insert syntax to check sy-uzeit (system time) before execution of a transaction. If sy-uzeit is out of permissible time range, then transaction will not be able to be executed.

eg. Z-tcode can be executed only on 00.00 - 10.00 and 14.00-23.59

user A execute it on system time 07.00 > success

user B execute it on system time 12.00 > fail
