Advanced Safety Stock planning

We are beginning a project for Advanced Safety Stock planning. This will be done at out Material/Location level and then utilized by our SNP Optimizer runs. We anticipate using the BT or BS advanced methods.

Does anyone know of a spreadsheet that could be used to simulate the calculations done in advanced Safety stock planning? This would help us derive the proper settings prior to setting the materials in SAP.

Any information on the exact calculations would be of great benefit to assist me in creating a model.
