Plug in does not exist

Hi Have installed CR Server 2008 12.1.0 on a Windows 2003 server, along with client tools.

Server is all up & running, CMC is accessible.

On opening Business View Manager to import Business Views, I cannot log on.

I get the page, add the server name, user & password, but get empty drop down box for authentication.

Go OK & get error message : Plug In does not exists.

On this client site we have no options for installing tools elsewhere, how can I resolve this?
