How do you keep track of historic data (classification and documents) on or conected to functional locations? Or how do you work with information (classification and documents) in advance on functional locations? How do you answer the question "What information was describing the functional location(s) at the date xxxx?".
External system or is it possible in SAP?

I would use BI report to track the history of FL. You could also track the same in SAP but I beieve it takes lot of response time.
