Hi Abhishek
Is this a newly installed system?
Are you able to login the J2EE from Web browser with the same uesr/password:
http://<host>:<port>/useradmin
If yes, you can try to reset the password of the admin user there.
If it does not work neither, please refer to the following link to activate the emergency user sap* and then login with sap* to reset the password of the admin user.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/48/bb6ca4f5fe307be10000000a42189b/content.htm
Then please deactivate the sap* and restart the system to try again.

Hi Abhishek,
the reason for the Visual Admin login failure is displayed at the bottom of the application window. There's a red '!' and a button which opens an information dialog besides it.
You can't view any password used by the engine, since this would be a severe security issue. The password of the Administrator user can be changed using the Web User Admin at http://<host>:50000/useradmin for example.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Stefan

Hi,
To find out what the problem is, you can check the infobar of the Visual Administrator, which is in the bottom of the Administrator screen. The bar displays a general message about the logon success or failure, but you can also get more detailed information by clicking on the icon next to the progress bar.
As for the password, you cannot view it as it is encrypted because of security reasons. The initial passwords are specified at installation time, so you should use them when you log on for the first time. Please, read the following documentation for more information about changing passwords using Visual Adminsitrator:
