Dear SCN Users,

As part of SAP successfactor recuritment data integration using SAP PI.

1.Soap AXIS framework need to be deployed.

2.Standard contents need to be deployed.

3.SFSF certificated need to be installed in SAP PI.

Apart from this any other task need to be done?

Also please assist in understanding the basic query.

1.The integration pack in sap R/3 and SAP PI should be in same SP?is there any criteria like that?

2.The content provided by sap supports both inbound and outbound connections?

Hi Raghu,

Yes, SFIHCM600 02 is enough for recruitment data integration.

You can work with SP11. This should not give you much trouble except Big IP allocation issue in R/3. But that can be handled easily implementing one SAP note. I can't remember the note now. But, recommended approach is to deploy integration content as per server SP. I mean if R/3 is in SP11 then deploy SP11 packaged content.

You need to maintain the SWCV in SLD as per standard PI content if you want to utilize PIS, else you can create SWCV as per your convenience and refer SWCV - SFIHCM600.

Certificate issue is not from SFSF end actually, it was from PI end. For SFSF integration 3 certificates are required. Sometimes, chain verification failed like other certificate based scenarios. Anyway, you can easily track this using XPI_INSPECTOR.

Thanks,

Apu

Hi Raghu,

These 3 are main things you need to work on generally. But along with that you can face some issues like certificate validation failure from key store, issues with session handling like cookie[0], problem on JSession ID, Big IP Server etc. That you can sort out on the go implementing some manual SAP notes as per the problem you will fetch.

1. The IP in R/3 and SAP PI might be in different SP as it depends on your ECC and PI system service pack. It can happen that your R/3 is in SP07 and PI is in SP09. So accordingly your Basis team should deploy in R/3.

2. Yes, it supports both. All required inbound and outbound flow for employee data, recruitment data, compensation data and Qualification data or LMS. Please deploy latest SFIHCM600 03.

Thanks,

Apu

Thanks Apu,

I am going to integrate only recruiting data so SFIHCM600 2 should be sufficient I think.

I compared R/3 Level Integration add on package for both SFIHCM600 1 and SFIHCM600 2 and imported contents according to SP pack in R/3 in SAP PI

Like in R/3 found SFIHCM600 SP11 added SFIHCM 600 SP11 component TPZ file in ESR.

Is this correct?

And also In SLD I just need to create the software component as per name in ESR and add in HCM system right?

I remember your discussion on certificates as well, can you tell me what are those certifaces 1 and 2 and how you Root CA ,all from SFSF site right?

Hello Apu, apu.das2,

I am integrating Qualifications data and while configuring the channel for Curriculum Status i am facing an error:

I am trying to connect to the HRSFI_QUALIFICATION_SRV service in ECC.

While testing the service from ECC I am able to login with SERVICE_USER.

But when I am trying to Ping same service from PI ODATA channel I am getting Error 403- Forbidden.

Is three something you can help me with.

Thanks,

Priyank
