Problem while Installing of SAP EP 6.0 SP3

Hi,

In the Wizard page named "SAP WebAS Java System" , I select J2ee Engine: P64 in the drop-down list, and enter admin in the password field, but something wrong...

Error Message: Exception while trying to get InitialContext.

Error Description: Failed to login for user Administrator

Has anyone ever encountered this problem?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks & Regards

Tony

I have the same problem. But could not resolve it. If you find a solution, please let me know.

However, before this error message, there was an error as:

"JAVA_HOME" does not exist in classpath.

I started the installation as per a help note as :

    sapinst.exe CHECK_PREREQUIREMENT=OFF

    to avoid the JAVA_HOME error.

    No use. Both errors happen.

I got the same error. After running the j2ee analyzer tool, I got the message:

    Cannot instantiate class: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.InitialContextFactoryImpl

    Any help is very appreciated

    Thanks + Regards

      Hi Holm,

I just installed EP stack05 and gives me the same error:

      Cannot instantiate class: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.InitialContextFactoryImpl

I'm desesperated, I have installed 7 times in 2 weeks with no success... =(

How do you resolved this ?

      Regards from Mexico,

      Diego
