Organization Management Uploading

Hi gurus,

I am going to upload the data for Organization Management in QA.

What all areas and Objects i need to focus on while uploading the data so the entire structure with all the Objects are available in QA.

Hi,

First pls. check OM intergration configuration in table "T77S0".

Then prepare LSMW/BDC to upload following OM Data:

1. To create Org. Unit, positions by recording tcode PP01.

2. To assign cost centre to Org. Unit by recording tcode PP01 / PP02.

3. To maintain relationship of Position to Org. Unit (Belongs to) by recording tcode PP01.

4. To maintain relationship of Job to Position by recording tcode PP01 (If required).

4. To maintain Reports to (A 002-Line Manager) relationship by recording tcode PP01.

5. To maintain Manage By (A 012-HOD) relationshiip by recording tcode PP01 (If required).

After hiring employee codes pls. check whether all OM data gets transferred to PA.

If not then run the program RHINTE00, RHINTE10 & RHINTE30 from tcode "SE38"

Hi seniors,

i am now working on LSMW for data uploading into Dev.

I have the client master data with me as per client number range, i will be uploading master data till 0008.

i want to know what should be the number range setting while doing the uploading

as it is throwing me the error of Internal number range Assignment.

2.i have 3 payroll areas,means these are variables not constant,payroll area keeps changing as per employees.

3. what should be the transaction code for recording as per my EXP it should be PA30 please correct me in i am wrong on this.

Hi,

Try uploading it with the external number range,

Have you ever tried to upload using PA40 actions ? since it is DEV try to create a new action type with the limited infotypes ( in your case only till IT0008).

I am going for LSMW i believe. so what ever Master data about Org.Units , Jobs, Positions i have ,

I have to prepare the Flatfile according to theis- to date & from date and upload it if i am not mistaken...

Now what i want to know what all other areas except Org units,Jobs,Postions i have to takecare of for uploading.

In the previuos mail what ever information you have provided those are really helpful at the same time i want to know the steps i need to follw,the Objects i need to take care of & the prerequisites for uploading the Client Master Data into QA????

Thank you very much for the upadate.

Well All the integartion are there in DEV and they are working fine.

My qusetion here is that In QA are the objects going to be available once the transfer requsets are released????

If no then what should be the process so that the data becomes available in QA???

Anothers issue is that do i have to upload the cleints Org.Mgmt data( Jobs,Positions )?????

If yes then what are the steps need to be followed for that?????

Hi,

Any configuration related to OM, PA, TM etc. moves from one client to another through TR.

But for master data upload you need to perform steps mentioned in previous message.
