Hi Experts,
I am getting an error while importing an Idoc structure from SAP r/3 system. The error says "unable to read Idoc segments". The Idoc has recently undergone changes. When We are looking at the struture of idoc through IDOCSYN table it is showing updated structure in SAP R/3 system but import to SAP XI is failing.
Can you suggest some way to tackle this kind of problem.
regards
Anupam
Hi,
1. Try to import some other IDOCs from the same R3 system. This will ensure that there is no connection issues or authorization problems.
2. Check the consistency of this IDOC after the change in R3 system. check the transactions we30/we31 in R3 system to verify all the new segments are released and not having any errors.
Regards,
Francis

Check whether it was released after changes been done.

Hi Anupam,
You have to check if the entry for the IDoc is existing in T.Code WE82 of the SAP R3 system, if not make an entry there and you will be able to import that IDoc.
I hope that it will help to you.

Rajesh

This kind of issue i faced when i open the same Idoc type in R/3 and try to import that in XI same time.
Come out of that in R/3 and import now
If that Idoc has been extended, then release that properly in R/3 first then Import in XI
