Material is available in stock, but it may not be available on the required date for your projects.this is what it checks during availability check. That is why it is showing as missing part. For more info refer SAP Help.

Hi,

Thanks for your Input !!!

But I think I will reframe my question and will describe the issue.

I have a material assigned to Network activity. This material is backflush, as per std SAP on confirmation of activity the material will be issued and the Final Issue flag will be ON. But this is not happenning. I noticed that this material has a missing flag. I checked the material it is in stock for the grouping WBS. I also checked COGI, it donot have any entry in COGI.

Another observation was I checked the confirmation. It was partially confirmed. I then finally confirmed the activity and material got issued. But the missing part tick is still there.

I fail to understand here how will that missing part get removed. Though the material is in stock I added few more qty in the stock, run availability check manually and then again checked its still missing.

I have checked SAP help and Existing threads. Can you please comment on this?

Hi,

check your OPJK settings. Try to select "No Check" for material availability.

Also, is your network linked to any sales order?
