We have over 3000 purchase orders but can't select range

On a crystal dashboard, there seems to be a row limit of around 500 maximum. We need to have 3000+ rows being selected as the data selection but can't get over 500+.

Is there a way of having the bypassing the limitation?

Select a range of cells to be placed in say a grid control = "Sheet1!$A$4:$D$555" - we really need over 3000 not 555 but just to show limitation. After selecting a range like this, it produces the following Error Message:

"Your range has been reduced to the maximum rows allowed."

It then reduces the range to "Sheet1!$A$4:$D$515" and tosses the 555 replacing it w/ 515.

Is there a patch or hotfix or something that can allow us to increase the range??? Is the limitation done to avoid performance degredation? Since we can't see all our data, we would rather it acts like a dog than cut off our data (aka better to allow user to choose a range as per their business requirements rather than restrict the range on the user.
