Can we trace the Copied from Info for BOM?

Sorry for providing the lack of information...
when we are creating a new BOM(Say TARGETBOM), we can copy assembly from any another BOM(say SOURCEBOM). So at any point of time, will it be possible for anybody to know that TARGETBOM is being from SOURCEBOM.
