Using jco Service

Hi Friends,

I am unable to use the jco service of PDK as iam getting the 'no such package found' kinda error. Where to lookout for this package in the Tomcat_root Folder?.

I am using Eclipse 2.0 with SAPPDKPlugin and

tomcat-pdk_5_0_5_0 . Tomcat Version 3.3.2. And where to put the com.sap.mw.jco package?.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Tamilarasan.

    Hi,

Is this package comes along with tomcat_pdk_5_0_5_0?. If not where to get this package?

    Please clarify.

    Regards,

    Hello,

If I remember correctly, sapjco.jar resides in the tomcat\lib\apps directory. Alternatively, you can download it from www.service.sap.com/connectors. Make sure it is in your project's build path (classpath) and you should be good to go. I would suggest you ensure alignment of your version of the JCo with the JCo version of the portal server to which you will deploy your iViews.

    Cheers,

    Mike
