Role not coming

Hi All,

I have create the One portal role which is having some iview , I have set the entry point to True for role.

After all this assigne role to user but at run time role is not coming .

Please check that have you assigned the correct role ??

If you have assigned the correct role , then log-out and login gain and check .

If you have done every thing correctly i mean that if you have assigned the correct role and your entry point is

correct then You have only option to check --

1. go to the System Admin ->Navigation ->Navigation Cache if your navigation cache is enabled otherwise

no need to do this

2. Now Clear Cluster Cache as well as Clear Local Cache .

3. Now close the user session - and login again to check the new role .... and here goes your New Role -:)

Follow the above steps and let me know .

Dear VS,

Please check if you have assigned the role properly to user and the browser cache is cleared. If the entry point is true then the role should be visible. Also check if the entry point is true for the Folder/Iview inside the role.

Hi,

This happens when u assign a wrong role. Also clear the browser cache and navigation cache (System Administration -> Navigation) if u r using AJAX framework.
