Reverse IBD when HU's are assigned

Hi All,

I have the following scenario and issue for inter/intra company STO.

We are implementing HUM. We have the setup that automatically generates the Inbound delivery when the Outbound delivery is Post Goods Issued.

When the Outbound delivery is PGI the Inbound delivery is created and the HÚ structure copied across, the inspection lot is also created at this point for the receiving plant.

We need a reversal process incase the PGI is executed in error etc.

At present we are de-assigning the HU's from the Inbound delivery and then deleting the delivery. The inspection lot is canceled.

Issue:

We cannot perform VL09 to reverse the PGI due to the following error:

Handling Unit 123456789 cannot be reversed.

Error long text Goods movements cannot be reversed for handling unit 123456789 because it has been either changed or assigned to an object since the last goods movement posting.

HU status shows it is still assigned to the OBD and is still stock in transit.

System Status is PSTD so only allows business transactions PGR and Unload.

Any ideas on how we can reverse VL09 so the HU's can be re-used?

Thanks in advance

Stuart

Hi

after PGI, it is possible to reverse that in VL09, if it is not happening then try deleting HU in the delivery & reverse it

Hi Ramesh,

Our issue is that we have de-assigned the HU's from the inbound delivery and cancelled the inbound delivery but cannot VL09 the outbound delivery as the HU is assigned toa n object and we now believe that this is the inspection lot that gets generated when the inbound delivery is created as the HU's are packed at that point.

At the moment the only solution we have found is to pack teh Hu's in to a virtual HU in VL02n before PGI, this then allows reversal as the HU's with the material content are not directly linked to the delivery.

Thanks

Stuart
