Storage location grayed out for 501 M movement type

Hi All,

I am trying to do GR for returnable packaging material , but the storage location field is grayed out for 501 -M movement type and system is not allowing to post the GR. I checked movement type setting 501 M and the settings are all ok. Is there any other configuration setting i am missing ?

Hi There

In *OMCJ-* Select the 501M- Go to Details-Double Click on *_Transfer postings-Receiving storage location*-_Make it as a Optional Entry or Req Entry and save it.

It may be Surpressed,, thats the reason you are having this issue,,

Hello Benny,

Please check the settings maintained on your field selections under tranacstion OMJX . Select the influences Tab and check the whether storage location is hide or not.

Also, ideally while doing GR for RTP it must be quantity update and no value update.

Check OMS2 for this material type, whether quantity update tick is there or not.

Hi,

I have checked OMS2 setting , both quantity and value update are checked for that material type. I even checked if there is any user exit active for ME51n for storage location field , but nothing is active.
