Record working times in ess

i have to change the default tab in record working times ivew of ESS from WEEKLY to DAILY. But i am unable to change that. If i change ,the tab is comming as Daily but the corrosponding table is not displaying?It is displayed only when we click on WEEKLy tab,then Daily tab?any suggestions.
